We have had a number of setbacks but we can't wait to complete the first episode. We've had some amazing shoots already, and any amount large or small will really make a difference right now. Thank you so much for caring about independent creatives, particularly in St. Louis!

My previous work has raised funds for Youth Emergency Services, Battered Women's Shelters, Cancer patients, and I often work using the arts to heal. "Broken Strings," highlights the struggles of activists and artists in St. Louis and beyond and how their lives intersect.

I am a Kranzberg Arts Foundation artist in residence this year and while we plan to film next week, several challenges have come our way.

Please help us keep our project on track so that the community and artists within it can create work that will help us heal and be filled with pride.
