CATHERINE DUDLEY-ROSE

Writer / Director 

Catherine is an award-winning writer/director, actress and musician.  She received the Missouri Arts Council's 2024 Individual Artist Award for the state of Missouri. An artist in residence with the Kranzberg Arts Foundation 2021-23 in St. Louis she began crafting BROKEN STRINGS.  Experimentation and connection with community are key to this multi-part project. Her award-winning first feature film is titled, Parallel ChordsProduced with Allyson Mace.

Her work has raised money for Youth Emergency Services, Battered Women's Shelters, Cancer Patients, and created work for productions about the AIDS epidemic, censorship, and women's issues.

Actress / Activist / Collaborator

Marty is an ambassador for peace and an actress and activist. She started the Ungun Institute and the Show Me Arts Academy. She has a leading role in the project. Show Me Arts Foundation was the first arts organization formed immediately following the unrest of Ferguson, Missouri​ and Marty has tirelessly served more than 2,500 children at no cost to their families providing classes centered around the arts. Dr. Marty was recently awarded a presidential lifetime achievement award from Joe Biden.

She believes "Broken Strings" can make a difference in our great city.

Allyson Mace is an award-winning film producer, media specialist, and founder of Bent Mind Productions, Sauce Magazine, and SauceTV in St. Louis. With over two decades of experience, Allyson has become a dedicated champion of St. Louis, promoting both the food and arts scenes and highlighting the region’s rich creative talent. She produced the award-winning Parallel Chords, with Catherine Dudley-Rose, and is excited to bring this next series to the world. 

Her accolades include Folio Magazine’s “Up and Coming Trailblazer” award, and she was recognized as one of the "Most Influential Women in Business" by the St. Louis Business Journal.

MALLORY INGLES

Cinematographer

In addition to filmmaking, Mallory is a lover of all things vintage or gold, experimental film, rings, ice cream, indie + bluegrass music, graphic design, neutral tones, plants, taper candles, the darkroom + Elvis Presley.

Actor

Don McClendon, is a St. Louis actor who has been seen in numerous local theatrical, film, and television shows. He is elated and excited to be a part of this creatively ambitious project.

Chrissie Watkins

Actress

Chrissie Watkins is a blooming, actress in the St. Louis metropolitan area. Her performance in the title role of the renown play Sylvia, earned her an Outstanding Leading Actress award, and her work in Ragtime earned her a St. Louis Theater Circle Outstanding Achievement for Ensemble award. She is honored to lead audiences through stories of growth in love, understanding, and compassion.

Sydney Russell

Actress

Sydney Russell is a St. Louis writer, director, producer, and actor who is very excited to be a part of this production. In her spare time, she enjoys watching movies, drinking coffee, and listening to as much music as possible.

Jaan Marion

Actor

Jaan Marion, 6x award winning for "Best Actor," Grammy nominated song writer, he is also a Producer, Director ,Writer  and Stunt Coordinator. Being known for his deep backstory development and method acting, he has landed numerous roles in films, theatrical performances, tv shows and commercials. He has a passion for giving back to the community and creating opportunities.
